Protect drive shafts against mechanical damage (e.g. with a rubber hose that has been cut open).

4. Fit drive shaft on transmission side. To do this, screw in six internal serration screws between the drive shaft and transmission flange and tighten

screws.

Subsequent work

1. Fit right rear wheel.
2. Check transmission oil level in the final drive and top up if necessary.
3. Fit the underbody panel.
4. Lower the vehicle.
