3. Pull fitting aid -3A- inwards and when the dimension -X= 85 mm- is reached, screw in the fastening screw -1- and washer -2-. Tightening torque:

2.8 Nm (2 ftlb.)

4. Position tightening strip -3B- with the fourth complete slit from the seam into the hole on the main folding top bow and screw in the fastening

screw -1- and washer -2-. Tightening torque: 1.8 Nm (1.5 ftlb.)

INFORMATION:

Only for vehicles as of March 2008 or vehicles with the new hood covering.

Make sure that the folding aid is routed under the corner bow.

5. Pull folding aid -2- to the front and guide it through the hood support -arrow-.

6. Rivet the folding aid -2- to the hood support at the side with rivets -1-.
