The seal is pressed onto the flange without any additional sealants.

1. Lay seal for convertible top compartment lid -1- evenly along the flange. Position and press the seal without any tension on the flanges to the side

panel -Arrow A-, corner pieces -Arrow B- and to the engine compartment bulkhead -Arrow C-.

2. Position seal for convertible top compartment lid -2- in area of B-pillar and secure with fastening screws -1-.

3. Stick rubber seal for door -2- on the B-pillar and press in fixing clip -1- through both seals.

INFORMATION:  Pay particular attention to the areas near the tight roundings for correct installation; there must be no deformation or
stretching.

4. Check installation is correct.
5. Close convertible top.

Subsequent work

Install right and left side trim panels. Refer to Removing and installing side trim panel.
