1. Replace sealing rings and fit them into the crankcase. -4-

2 - Screw, M6 x 25 - Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

3 - Screw, M6 x 25; screwed to fuel high-pressure distribution pipe - see relevant section

4 - Seal for thermostat housing; replace

2. Insert coolant pipe with new sealing rings into the thermostat housing following disassembly. Insert sealing rings with grease 000.043.204.68.
3. Move thermostat housing and the fitted coolant pipe into installation position.
4. Connect coolant hoses.

5. Insert thermostat housing with coolant pipe and secure according to tightening sequence.
