Oil/coolant heat exchanger (oil cooler)

1 - Oil guide housing

2 - Oil-filter housing - Tightening torque: 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)

3 - Oil filter

4 - Oil-filter sealing ring

5 - Oil duct adapter (cannot be replaced)

6 - Heat exchanger seal

7 - Oil/coolant heat exchanger

8 - Screw, M6 x 20; self-tapping screws ex-works; metric screws can also be used - Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

A - Direction of travel

Then move the oil/coolant heat exchanger into installation position and fit the fastening screws (turn screws by hand initially). The old
self-tapping screws can be re-used. Tighten screws evenly and diagonally.

2. Clip the coolant hose assembly into to the oil/coolant heat exchanger (oil cooler).
3. Fit the coolant hoses on the oil/coolant heat exchanger and remove the hose clamps.

4. On vehicles with PDCC, secure the hoses on the oil guide housing. - Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
