Internal puller

5.1.

To do this, insert internal puller into the middle of the drive plate and tighten it.

5.2.

Then screw on the slide hammer and knock off the drive plate.

Information

Clean the crankshaft stub before installing the drive plate (remove rust).
Use a special metal-polishing pad (e.g. Nevr-Dull(R)) for this.
Because of the bearing classification, cleaning at the crankshaft flange must be done gently and, if necessary, the bearing classification must be
documented on a separate document and kept in the service booklet.

1. Fit drive plate. Fit new screws.

Information
The threaded bore in the oil guide housing is a blind hole.

The toothed segment must be secured to the oil guide housing using a screw (M12 x 50). -2- This screw ensures that the toothed segment is
secured well and prevents damage to the blind hole thread because the thread is the correct length.
