Preparatory work

1.1 Connect battery charger. --> Workshop Manual '2X00IN01 Battery trickle charging'

1.2 Find the frequency range of the PCM or car radio.

1.2.1 PCM frequency range

Switch on PCM and select Frequency selection using the right rotary knob. The frequency range limits are shown in the display. Take
note of the frequency range and switch off PCM.

1.2.2 CDR car radio frequency range

Switch on CDR and press the button for setting the frequency manually MAN. Use the right push/rotary knob to find the minimum and
maximum frequency, take note of the frequency and switch off CDR.
