G 8.8 Special Paint Finishes

G 8.8.1 Special paint finish on Porsche 993 anniversary model "vesuvio"

WARNING:  -> 2 "Safety regulations" and read the product-specific safety instructions on the container labels.

NOTE:  For the color variant "vesuvio" on the 911 Carrera 2S (993), 1997 model, the vehicle parts:

Rear spoiler grille
are painted in color shade "Steel Grey 61 W".

G 8.8.2 Special paint finish on Porsche 996 Millennium "Violet Chromaflair"

NOTE:

For the color variant "Violet Chromaflair" on the 911 Millennium, 2000 model, a color tone is used ex works which can not be produced in the
mix system for repair painting.

G 8.9.1 Removal of holograms

The term holograms refers to directional micro-scratches in the clear coat surface, which are caused by extremely fine abrasive agents in the polishing
tools or by improper polishing or cleaning procedures, especially on paint surfaces that are not fully hardened.

Because of the micro-scratches, the incident sunlight is refracted differently from the rest of the paint surface, causing the optical phenomenon of the
