Warning:  Never twist the crankshaft the direction of movement!
Proceed carefully while working as otherwise the engine can be damaged!
Ensure everything is clean when working on valve drive!
Only turn the engine on the crankshaft and never on the camshaft as the timing chain can jump over!
Never get flat-base tappets mixed up!
Please observe general warning notes and working regulations! 

Removing flat-base tappets 
1. Remove camshafts.

If the flat-base tappets are to be reused, they are to be marked according to location and put down in such a way that they cannot be mixed up!

If the flat-base tappets are to be reused, they must be installed in the same location!

2. Pull the flat-base tappets out of the camshaft housing one after the other and put down somewhere in such a way that they cannot be mixed up.
