1. Position the belt pulley on the crankshaft stub. Then press the belt pulley slightly in the direction of the engine, simultaneously twisting it until it

slips definitively in the direction of the timing case cover. When doing so, pay attention to the feather key.

2. Screw the new central screw into the crankshaft.

3. Position arm bracket 9679 in the belt pulley and turn it until it locks.

4. Tighten the central screw to 250 Nm (185 ft. lbs.).

5. Attach torque angle disc 6690-1 . Attach a magnetic foot to a metal part and set the scale by turning the pointer to 0.

The screw is turned further by a 90° torque angle.

This angle corresponds to the cylinder angle.
