Removing chain case lid

The description only explains how to remove the chain case lid. The removal of other components is described in the corresponding chapters.

Before the engine is removed, the fastening screws of the water pump belt pulley should be removed.

Remove engine guard.

1. Drain off engine oil and dispose of it in accordance with the applicable national laws.

2. Loosen (do not unscrew) the 3 fastening screws of the water pump belt pulley.
3. Remove engine.

4. Remove engine carrier. To do this, release the 4 fastening screws on the engine mounts.
