License Plate Bulb: Service and Repair
Removing And Installing Number Plate Light
WARNING: Risk of short circuit: Before removing the number plate light, take out the ignition key and switch the light switch off.
NOTE: Before removing the number plate lights, take out the ignition key and switch the light switch off. The plug connection must point towards the
inside of the vehicle.
Removing The Number Plate Light
1. Remove the number plate light
a. Loosen the two sheetmetal screws and remove the number plate light together with the sheetmetal screws.
b. Actuate the connector and disconnect.
2. Remove bulb for number plate light
a. Press the mount for the bulb apart and remove the bulb "in direction of arrow" from the holder.
Installing Number Plate Light
1. Install bulb for number plate light
a. Insert the bulb in the mounting point of the number plate light.
2. Install the number plate light
a. Insert the number plate light in the rear lid and secure with the fastening screws.
