In an idle state, all control modules that are connected to the PCM2 are in sleep mode. When the PCM2 is switched on, 'the light' which is reinforced by
the connected MOST control modules and forwarded is switched on via the gateway.

Display '*' In the Menu 'Control Modules' and Menu 'PCM2/ CDR23 MOST-Components Check'

Varying required/actual installed components list

When the 'automatic control module search' is complete, the following display '*' appears in front of the control module description  PCM2 or CDR23  in
the menu  Control modules , as well as in the 'PCM2 MMI function selection menu' in front of the entry 'MOST required installed components list' if a
difference in the required and actual installed components list is established by the Porsche System Tester II No. 9588 and there is no fault code in one of
the fault memories of the MOST control modules.

If there is a fault code in one of the MOST control modules, the display  '*' is only shown in the 'PCM2 MMI function selection menu'.

If there is a display in the menu Control module, an existing fault code has priority and a '#' is set.
