1. Push on plug "C" and lock "B".
2. Insert the connector "A" until it can be felt to engage.

3. Insert control unit into the upper mounting point "B" and engage in holder "A".

Install cover under left instrument panel.

Programming New Kessy/immobilizer Control Unit

NOTE:

All original keys are required for teaching.

If a new Kessy control unit is to be installed in a vehicle, the immobilizer code specified in IPAS must be entered.

You can get the codes from IPAS or from your importer by specifying the vehicle identification number.

During programming, it is essential to guarantee the power supply for the Porsche System Tester. It is essential to connect a battery charger with a
current rating of at least 40 A to the vehicle battery.

The Porsche System Tester instructions take precedence and in the event of a discrepancy these are the instructions that must be followed. A
discrepancy may arise with later software versions (from 16.0).

The procedure described here has been structured generally, different text or additions may appear in the Porsche System Tester.

In order to guarantee the function of the control unit after teaching, the coding value in the old control unit must be read out or be determined
again. This value must be written into the new control unit after teaching.

1. Ignition off.
2. Replace control unit.
3. Ignition remains off, connect the Porsche System Tester (PST) to the vehicle and start the System Tester.
4. Select Special functions using the cursor keys.
5. Select Kessy Cayenne using the cursor keys.

NOTE:  The brake pedal must be pushed during the control unit search. The reason for this is that the CAN remains active. If the brake pedal is
not pressed, the Kessy control unit is not recognized.
