Removing and Installing Front Level Sensor

Removing and installing front level sensor 

Note!

An angle sensor is installed on each spring strut in running gears with level control.

The removal and installation on the right spring strut has been described.

^

The level sensor is screwed to the mounting saddle and top control arm.

Removing front level sensor 
Turn steering until you can access the level sensor.

1. Counter with an open-ended wrench on the two flats -1- and unscrew fastening nut -2-.
2. Unscrew both fastening screws -3-.

3. Disengage lever from angle sensor, swivel it forward and remove the angle sensor.
4. Press the electrical plug together -a- and pull it off.

Installing front level sensor 

1. Press the electrical plug onto the angle sensor until it clicks into place.
