7. Unscrew selector lever cable from the ball head with removal tool, universal 21.

When a new selector lever cable is used, this should be connected directly to the old cable when it is removed. This ensures that it is routed
correctly.

8. Pull selector lever cable up and out through the lower part of the selector support.

Installing selector lever cable

When a new selector lever cable is used, this should be connected directly to the old cable when removing. This ensures that it is routed correctly.

1. Install selector lever cable through the lower part of the selector support.
2. Press rubber sleeve on the selector lever cable into the lower part of the selector support.

3. Attach tab washer -A- to the cable holder on the transmission side.
4. Attach cable to the ball head.

Note:

The cable adjustment must be changed when a new selector lever cable is used.

Removing and installing cable adjustment

Remove pins and take out cable adjustment.
