Insert new cable adjustment on the selector support and install pins.

When doing so, ensure that the opening for the adjusting screw is turned upwards.

Note:

Ensure that the tab washer is seated correctly.

5. Push selector lever cable onto the cable adjustment. Position screw and install tab washer.
6. Adjust selector lever cable.
7. Install selector supports.
8. Install selector knob.
9. Functional test of gear selecting system:

Will the vehicle start?

Do all the selector lever positions work?

10. Install shield on the transmission. To do this, screw in the three fastening screws.
11. Install engine guard.
