The brake discs do not have to be removed to disengage the brake cables.

7. Remove the screw plug -arrow- at the brake disc.
8. Remove the brake cable. Do not loosen the circlip! To do this, insert a screwdriver between the sleeve of the brake cable and the wheel bearing

housing -see figure-.

9. Pull the sleeve of the cable -see figure- as far as possible out of the wheel bearing housing.

10. Push the cable gently into the brake drum. Use a small screwdriver inserted through the brake disc opening -see figure- to press the safety spring

and hexagon on the spreading lever upwards and at the same time pull the brake cable out of the brake drum.

1. Insert the end of the cable with the hexagon -see figure- into the Quickfit on the wheel bearing housing. The hexagon in the Quickfit must engage

audibly. Ensure that it is well sealed.
