4. Carefully lift the rear intake-air distributor at the shift gate and pull off the vacuum line under the control valve -1- (difficult to reach, use a

mirror). Pull off cable plug for control valve. -2-

5. Lift off intake-air distributor.

V8 turbo engine M48/51:

6. Loosen connections on intake-air distributor on the turbo engine in the same way as on the naturally aspirated engine. -1, 2, 3 and 4-
