Oil return on V8 Turbo
Installing oil mist separator
The installation procedure for cylinder banks 1 to 4 and 5 to 8 is essentially the same.
1. Check gaskets on oil mist separator and replace if damaged. -1, 2 and 3-

below - Oil mist separator for cylinder bank 1 to 4

- Sealing rings on connection pieces

2. Lubricate sealing rings on connection piece on oil mist separator with grease 000.043.204.68 (Kluber Syntheso Glep 1). -3-
3. Place oil mist separator in installation position.
4. Fit oil return line underneath the oil mist separator on the plastic connection piece -arrow-. Fit spring band clamp if necessary (Turbo) -arrow-.
