Match points of front cardan shaft to front final drive

To tighten the cardan shaft bolts, a second fitter should sit in the vehicle and block the drive train by actuating the brake.

Information

Screws which are tightened with a torque angle must be replaced with new ones.

6. Mount cardan shaft with new screws. - Initial tightening: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.) - Final tightening: 90 angular degrees

7. Mount cardan shaft with new screws -arrow- on the transfer gear. - Initial tightening: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.) - Final tightening: 90 angular degrees
