2.4. Carefully pull out the pull tabs on the adhesive tape -A- between the rear spoiler -1- and rear lid -2-.

Press sealing cord into position using a plastic spatula if necessary.

2.5. Heat the rear spoiler slightly with the hot-air blower and press it on using a rubber roller.
2.6. Tighten the rear spoiler, starting from the centre and working your way out. Tightening torque: 9.7 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

Installing rear spoiler trim

INFORMATION:  Ensure that the pull tabs on the adhesive tape are still accessible after positioning the components.

1. Install adapters for rear spoiler trim.

1.1. Affix adhesive tape -2- to the underside of the adapters -1-.

INFORMATION:

Observe marking L = left and R = right on the adapters for the rear spoiler trim.

The position of the adapters cannot be changed once they are pressed in.

1.2. Pull off protective film and position adapter -1- over the relevant bore hole on the rear apron -2-.
