1.7. De-burr the bore holes.

2. Drill bore holes for the rear spoiler on the inner panel of the rear lid.

2.1. Clean inside of rear lid to remove any dust and grease and spray it with water.
2.2. Place inner panel template on the inside and align it with the contour of the inner panel of the lid and bore -A-.

2.3. Also fix template in place on the rear lid using adhesive tape.
2.4. Copy markings (4 ea.) on the template to the inner panel of the rear lid using a hammer and prick punch and remove the template.

INFORMATION:

Ensure that the two outer bore holes are spaced with a gap of -X- = 1.0 mm with respect to the radius of the inner panel.

Bore holes must not be visible when the rear lid trim panel is fitted.

2.5. Draw a circle with Dia. = 15.0 mm at the markings using a drawing compass.

2.6. Remove template and drill holes at the markings on the inner panel as follows:

Stop bit setting on power drill: 15 mm;

Drill a small hole first: Dia. 4.0 mm;

Drill required bore: Dia. 15.0 mm
