Always replace fastening screws.

It is not permissible to make alterations to the microencapsulated fastening screws (e.g. by using lubricant, loosening the screws and screwing
them down again).
INFORMATION:

The seat-belt tensioner may only be installed with the ground terminal of the vehicle battery disconnected.

The vehicle battery may only be re-connected after the re-installation of the belt has been completed.
1. Position seat-belt tensioner -2-. Observe direction of travel.
2. Tighten fastening screw -1-. Tightening torque: 50 Nm (37 ftlb.) ± 10 %
3. Insert electrical plug -1- in the seat-belt tensioner -2-.
4. Push in lock with a tool such as a screwdriver -direction of arrow- until it engages.
5. By gently pulling on the belt, check the winding ability of the belt strap.
