Always replace fastening screws.

It is not permissible to make alterations to the microencapsulated fastening screws (e.g. by using lubricant, loosening the screws and
screwing them down again).
1. Insert deflection fitting -2- together with the support -3- on the inner side section and fasten with the fastening screw -1-. Tightening torque : 46
Nm (34 ftlb.) ± 10 %
Subsequent work
1. Install side-panel lining. Refer to Removing and installing side trim panel.
2. Connect the battery. Refer to Working instructions after disconnecting the battery.
3. Using the PIWIS Tester P 9718, read out the fault memory.
