7. Disengage operating cable at the lid lock

Removing lock carrier

INFORMATION:

To avoid damage to the wing, the radiator module must be secured at the same height before the bumper is removed.

This can be achieved either by securing it to the subframe using tie-wraps or by supporting it on a workshop jack or transmission jack.

1. Remove radiator module -7- from the lock carrier -1- .

1.1. Unscrew fastening screws -6- .
1.2. Disconnect radiator module -7- from the lock carrier -1- and press it back onto the supporting frame.

1.3. Secure the radiator module -7- with tie-wraps -9- on the supporting frame -8- .

2. Remove front air guide at the side. (Turbo only)

3. Release charge air cooler -3- . (Turbo only)

3.1. Unscrew fastening screws -5- .
