Preliminary work

Preliminary work for control unit for rear-end electronics

1. If the control unit for rear-end electronics has to be replaced, the values/coding must be read out prior to removal using the 2nd generation PIWIS

Tester 9818.

2. Switch off ignition and remove the remote control from the ignition lock.
3. Open the luggage compartment floor.
4. Remove tool kit tray.

5. Unscrew the two fastening screws -1- on the fuse/relay carrier.
6. Pull the fuse/relay carrier up out of the guide.

Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
