The front door hinges are installed in reverse order to removal.

The hinges can be set at roughly the correct position during installation by positioning them on the existing indents.

When installing the hinges on a new door, the door must be readjusted.

Tighten all fastening screws to

Tightening torque: 33 Nm (24 ftlb.)±10 %.

Installing front door hinge on body side

1. Fit the door hinge.

2. Tighten fastening nuts.
3. Adjusting the front door.
4. Tighten fastening nuts to the specified tightening torque

Tightening torque: 33 Nm (24 ftlb.)±10 %.

5. Cover the inside of the vehicle close to the A-pillar, floor and firewall with welding protection covers.
6. Weld the door hinges securely at the bolts -2- .
7. Apply corrosion protection around the welded seam.
8. Install dashboard support.

Subsequent work

1. Install front door
2. Install front door sub-frame
