Replacing Rubber Seal For Rear Door Sub-frame

Preliminary work

1. Remove rear B-pillar cover.

Replacing rubber seal for rear door sub-frame

1. Pull off rubber seal.

INFORMATION:  Immediately before sticking on, wash off the areas on which you intend to stick the seal using isopropanol to ensure that all traces
of silicone, grease and oil are completely removed.

2. Install new rubber seal.

2.1. Place new rubber seal with cut-out onto the area marked -A- . The seal air vents must face towards the outside of the vehicle.
2.2. Position seal around the sheetmetal flange.
2.3. Pull out protective film from under the seal.

INFORMATION:

The seal is stuck on in the area of the door arrester rubber bushing after the door sub-frame has been installed.

Do not press on the seal in the area of the door arrester rubber bushing.
