Camshaft mount, cylinder bank 1 to 4

1 - Screw, M6 x 35
2 - Bearing cover
3 - Dowel sleeve
4 - Bearing cover (intake)
5 - Bearing cover (outlet)
6 - Screw, M6 x 70
7 - Bearing surfaces (oil with engine oil)
A - Direction of travel

Camshaft mount, cylinder bank 5 to 8

1 - Dowel sleeves
2 - Bearing cover (intake)
3 - Screw, M6 x 70
4 - Bearing cover
5 - Screw, M6 x 35
6 - Bearing cover (outlet)
7 - Bearing surfaces (oil with engine oil)
A - Direction of travel

Subsequent work

Complete Steps 1 and 2 together. Set the timing before completing the final tightening of the camshaft controllers and sprockets.

1. Install camshaft controllers for timing adjustment.
2. Install camshaft timing gears for timing adjustment.
3. The high-pressure pump must be fitted after installing the intake camshaft for cylinder bank 5 to 8.
4. Install valve cover.
