The hydraulic tappets are fitted as bucket tappets on the outlet side and as switching tappets for valve lift switchover on the intake side.

Switching tappets and bucket tappets cannot be interchanged.

The hydraulic tappets have a twist lock for the cylinder head.

If the hydraulic tappets are to be re-used, they must be marked according to installation position using a water-resistant felt-tip pen and set aside in
such a way that they cannot be mixed up!

If the hydraulic tappets are to be re-used, they must be installed at the same position!
Camshafts, cylinder bank 1 to 4
1 - Camshaft (outlet)
2 - Camshaft (intake)
3 - Hydraulic valve for variable valve lift control
4 - Screw, M5 x 12
5 - Switching tappet (oil with engine oil)
6 - Flat-base tappet (oil with engine oil)
7 - Stopper
8 - Mounting saddle 1 to 4
9 - Stopper
10 - Bearing locations (oil with engine oil)
