Pulling off plug connections

3. Release and pull off plug connection for airbag wiring harness -2-.

Information
Immediately after unscrewing the fastening screw and before removing the steering wheel, it is essential to mark the position of the steering wheel and 
steering column -2-.

Marking

When reinstalling, this ensures that the steering wheel as well as the airbag spring are fitted back in the same position on the steering column.

4. Unscrew fastening screw -1- with multiple-tooth socket-wrench insert Nr.32 ().

5. Mark position of steering wheel.
6. Remove steering wheel.
