Preliminary work for PASM control unit
1. If a new control unit has to be installed, the values/coding must be read out using the 2nd generation PIWIS Tester 9818 prior to removing the
"old" PASM control unit.
2. Detach part of the side trim panel for the rear luggage compartment at the left and fold it forward.
3. Pull control unit for rear-differential lock out of the holder and set it aside.

-> Remove the ignition key and switch off load before disconnecting or removing load.
Information
An electronics module is screwed to the PASM control unit on vehicles with air suspension.
This additional electronics module remains fitted to the control unit even when the control unit is replaced.
The electronics module -1- has two additional connectors -2-, which must be unplugged during removal and plugged in again during installation.
