Passenger’s window

The passenger’s window can be operated from the driver’s door switchpack or the passenger’s door switchpack.

Operation from driver’s door switchpack When the ’up’ switch is pressed, battery voltage is switched from fuse 13 on the S/O wire via the driver’s / passenger’s window lift switch on the P/R wire to the passenger’s window switch and from there on the R wire to the passenger window lift motor. Simultaneously, an earth is switched on the B wire via the driver’s / passenger’s window lift switch on the P/U wire to the passenger’s window switch and from there on the U wire to the other terminal of the window lift motor. The window will now move upwards until the switch is released or it reaches the end of its travel.

When the ’down’ switch is pressed, battery voltage is switched from fuse 13 on the S/O wire via the driver’s / passenger’s window lift switch on the P/U wire to the passenger’s window switch and from there on the U wire to the passenger window lift motor. Simultaneously, an earth is switched on the B wire via the driver’s / passenger’s window lift switch on the P/R wire to the passenger’s window switch and from there on the R wire to the other terminal of the window lift motor. The window will now move downwards until the switch is released or it reaches the end of its travel.
