Driver’s airbag

The driver’s airbag is connected to the airbag control unit on K and B wires.

SRS warning light

The warning light (located in the steering wheel pad) is controlled by the airbag control unit on N and W wires and illuminates when the electrical circuits are initialised whilst the system performs a self-diagnosis test. If the system finds no fault during self diagnosis the light will extinguish after approximately 3 seconds.

In the event of a fault in the system the warning light will illuminate continuously or fail to illuminate during the self diagnosis test.
