Wash/wipe
When the wash switch is operated, battery voltage on the LG wire is switched from fuse 15 in the passenger compartment fuse box via the front wash switch on the LG/B wire to the front wiper control unit. The front wiper control unit responds by supplying battery voltage on the N/LG wire via the front wash/wiper switch on the U/LG wire to the motor slow speed terminal. After the switch is released, the wiper continues to operate for approximately 4 or 5 seconds.
Wiper motor park When the wiper switch is operated, the wiper park circuit will operate returning the wiper blades to their park position. Battery voltage on the LG wire from fuse 15 in the passenger compartment fuse box is connected to the park switch so that when the battery supply to the front wiper control unit is removed by the wiper switch being turned to the off position, battery voltage from the fuse 15 is switched via the park switch to the front wiper control unit on the N/LG wire. As a result the front wiper control unit will maintain a supply to the motor until the park switch returns to the park position.
Washer pump motor When the wash switch is operated, battery voltage on the LG wire is switched on the LG/B wire to the washer pump and simultaneously to the front wiper control unit. The earth return for the washer pump is on the B wire.
