Passenger’s Door Window

The front passenger’s door window switch has three positions; UP, OFF and DOWN, spring loaded to the central, OFF, position.

When the switch is moved to the UP position, a supply is fed from fuse 8 on the U/B wire, to the motor, on the U/G wire. Provided that the isolation switch is ON (up), the window is driven upward (towards closed) until it is fully closed or the switch is released.

Rear Door Windows

Both rear windows can be operated from either the centre console or from the relevant door switch. In each case, the console switch and the door switch are connected in parallel.

The functional wiring is similar to that described for the passenger’s window except that in these cases, power is supplied via fuses 4 and 7 on the Y/B and G/B wires, to the right and left rear doors respectively.
