GEAR LEVER ADJUSTMENT

NOTE: Whenever the gear lever is reconnected to the selector rod, the gear lever must be set in the vertical position.

  1. Raise front of vehicle.

WARNING: Support on safety stands.

Gear lever adjustment – Raise front of vehicle.
  1. Slacken locknut securing gear lever to selector rod.
  2. Using assistance, hold gear lever vertically and tighten locknut to 25 Nm.
  3. Check that the gear lever can travel across gate without contacting the centre console.
  4. Remove stand(s) and lower vehicle.
