Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

Idle air control valve (B234T) 

Removal 

1  Remove the throttle body hose.

2  Remove the clip and bend the throttle cable casing aside.

3  Remove the idle air control valve hoses from the throttle body.

4  Pull the valve off the bracket and withdraw the hoses.

5  Unplug the valve's connector.

6  Lift out the valve and remove the two hoses.

 
 
Fitting 

Fit in reverse order.

Drive the car on test for adaptation of the control module.

Important:  Do not tighten any of the four hose clips until the valve has been fitted and is correctly positioned.
