Astra L4-1.8L (2009)
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).
1. Install the brake disc to the wheel hub with the detent screw (1).
Tighten the detent screw to 4 Nm (35 lb in).
Note: Clean the thread and insert the bolts with locking compound.
2. Install the brake carrier (2) to brake carrier plate.
Tighten the brake carrier to 100 Nm (74 lb ft).
3. Install the brake pads. Refer to Rear Disc Brake Pads Replacement (See: Brake Pad/Service and Repair/Rear Disc Brake Pads Replacement) and
Rear Disc Brake Pad Attachment Replacement (See: Brake Pad/Service and Repair/Rear Disc Brake Pad Attachment Replacement).
4. Install the rear wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (See: Maintenance/Wheels and Tires/Service and Repair).
5. Actuate the brake pedal repeatedly.
6. Top up the brake fluid to the MAX mark. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Filling (See: Hydraulic System/Brake Master Cylinder/Service and
