Wiper Gear Box: Service and Repair
Windshield Wiper Transmission Replacement
Removal Procedure
1. Remove the air inlet screen. Refer to Air Inlet Screen Replacement (See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Air Duct/Service and Repair/Air Inlet
Screen Replacement).
2. Remove the bolts (1) securing the windshield wiper transmission to the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the electrical connections to the windshield wiper motor.
4. Remove the windshield wiper transmission assembly from the vehicle.
5. Remove the windshield wiper motor from the windshield wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper System Module Replacement (See:
