3. Remove liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe)   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Repair).

4. Disconnect the wiring harness plug (1) for the liftgate wiper motor and disconnect.

Disconnect the wiring harness plug.

Release the wiring harness plug and disconnect.

5. Remove the wiper motor.

Remove the 3 bolts (2).

Installation Procedure

Caution:  Refer to Fastener Caution   (See: Service Precautions/Vehicle Damage Warnings/Fastener Caution).

1. Install the liftgate wiper motor.

Tighten the 3 bolts to 3.5 Nm (31 lb in).

2. Connect the wiper motor wiring harness plug.

Connect the wiring harness plug.

3. Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe)   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim

Panel/Service and Repair)Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan)   (See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and
Repair).

4. Install the rear wiper arm.

Tighten the nut to 9 Nm (80 lb in).

5. Install the fastening cover for the liftgate window wiper arm.
