L300 V6-3.0L VIN R (2001)
1. Remove the rear seat beam. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cross Bar Replacement (See: Rear Seat Back Cushion Cross Bar Replacement).
2. Remove the rear seat back beam rear cover side fasteners.
3. Starting at the bottom of the cover, gently pull on the cover to disengage the attaching fasteners.
4. Pull upward on the rear seat back beam rear cover to disengage the locking tabs, then remove the beam cover.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the rear seat back beam rear cover locking tabs over the rear seat back beam.
2. Push at the attaching clip locations and snap the beam cover into place.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
3. Install the rear seat back beam rear cover fasteners.
Tighten the rear seat back beam rear cover fasteners to 20 Nm (15 lb ft).
4. Install the rear seat back beam. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cross Bar Replacement (See: Rear Seat Back Cushion Cross Bar Replacement).
