IMPORTANT: Tie rod ends must be thoroughly cleaned before tightening nut.
6. Using Steering Linkage Installer J44015 (or equivalent) install the tie rod end into the steering knuckle.

Tie Rod End Linkage Installer: 45 Nm (33 ft. lbs.)
NOTICE: Use a new nut. Torque retention of old nut may not be sufficient.
NOTICE: Hold ball stud from turning when installing nut. The boot can become torn and damaged if the ball stud turns.
7. Remove the linkage installer and install a new nut.

Tie Rod End-to-Knuckle Nut: 60 Nm (45 ft. lbs.)
8. Inspect boot for damage and replace part if damaged.
9. If equipped with ABS, install sensor mounting bracket and sensor.

ABS Sensor Bracket-to-Knuckle: 8 Nm (71 inch lbs.)
10. Install dust shield and tighten screws.

ABS Sensor-to-Bracket: 4 Nm (35 inch lbs.)
