New Service Procedure for Removal and Installation of Sunroof Switch Assembly
MODELS AFFECTED:
1991 - 1997 Saturns equipped with factory installed power sunroofs (CF5)
PURPOSE:
The sunroof switch assembly removal and installation procedure in the Saturn service manuals state that the headliner must be removed to gain access to
the sunroof switch assembly. This information is incorrect. In the future, for sunroof switch removal and installation, use the procedure included with this
bulletin.
PROCEDURE
Sunroof Switch Assembly
Removal
1.
Remove map lamp bezel
2.
Depress tabs on sunroof switch assembly to remove from overhead console.
3.
Disconnect wire connector from sunroof switch assembly and remove sunroof switch assembly.
