5. Release accelerator control cable from accelerator pedal assembly.
NOTE: The accelerator cable assembly can be removed and installed easier with the accelerator pedal assembly removed.
Accelerator Cable To Bulkhead Connection.
6. Release cable retainer locking tangs from dash panel.
NOTE: An adjustable wrench can be set to the width of the hole and used to collapse the throttle cable retainer tangs.
7. Remove cable from vehicle.
INSTALLATION
WARNING: Make sure vehicle is properly supported and squarely positioned. To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on
hoist, provide additional support for the opposite end from which components are being removed. Make sure hoist does not contact
fuel or brake lines.
1. Raise vehicle squarely on a hoist. Refer to lift instructions for positioning vehicle correctly on a hoist.
