Using the needle nose pliers, remove the plastic gain control knob by pulling outwards.

Once the knob is removed, use the flat head screwdriver and rotate the gain counterclockwise, until it stops.

4.

Reinstall the plastic gain control knob with the white indicator mark pointing at the 12 o'clock position.
