Add the one spot weld between the holes for the tightening bolt on both the RH and LH hinges.

C.

Apply anti-rust treatment on the outside of the spot weld.

Clean the area around the spot weld and apply a rust preventative paint to prevent corrosion.

This area is NOT visible when the trim is reinstalled, so finish painting is not required.

19.

Reassemble in reverse order of disassembly.

Align the sliding roof cable position LH and RH.

20.

Re-initialize any affected power systems.

Refer to the following TSBs to re-initialize the power systems:

For 2005 model year: TSB No. PD008-05, Power System Initialization During PDS."

For 2006 model year: TSB No. PD014-06, Power System Initialization During PDS."

^

For 2007 model year: TSB No. PD009-07, Power System Initialization During PDS."

21.

Test drive the vehicle to confirm the tick/rattle noise is gone.
