Slide the rear side sunshade trim forward and remove it.

8.

Remove the sliding roof housing front mounting bracket LH by removing the two (2) bolts, two (2) nuts, and then the bracket.

9.

Remove the sliding roof housing front mounting bracket RH by removing the two (2) bolts, two (2) nuts, and then the bracket.

10.

Remove the sliding roof housing center mounting bracket LH by removing the two (2) bolts, two (2) nuts, and then the bracket.

11.

Remove the sliding roof housing center mounting bracket RH by removing the two (2) bolts, two (2) nuts, and then the bracket.

12.

Remove the room light switch by removing the two (2) bolts, one (1) nut, and bracket from the drive gear.

13.

Remove the sliding roof drive gear assembly.

14.

Remove the drive cable and drive cable guide casing by removing the twelve (12) nuts.

CAUTION:

Be careful NOT to twist or damage the drive cable and guide casing during removal.

15.

Remove the sliding roof drive cable LH.

A.

Using the T25 Torx driver, remove the two (2) screws.

B.

Remove the two (2) screws.

C.

Disconnect the drive cable from the lift guide. Slide the drive cable toward the rear of the vehicle and remove it.
