A.

If excessive noise is present from the blower motor continue to step 3.

B.

If excessive noise is not present from the blower motor continue to step 2.

Check blower motor control signal voltage.

A.

Locate the A/C Amplifier.

B.

Measure the blower motor speed control signal voltage with a DVOM across terminals 9 and 12 of connector A7 at the A/C Amplifier.

C.

Turn ignition "ON" and blower speed to low.

D.

A voltage of about 3.70V should be output.

If output voltage is correct, proceed to step 3.

If output voltage is NOT present, or is incorrect, refer to repair manual for further diagnosis.
